What you need from a wearable supplier depends on how you sell. Start from the path that matches your business model.
Choosing the right sourcing model is the biggest driver of MOQ, timeline and margin. Here is how the three options compare in practice.
| Decision factor | Wholesale CatalogStandard models | Private Label OEMExisting platform, your brand | Full ODMNew product development |
|---|---|---|---|
| What changes | Nothing — ships as catalog SKU | Logo, colours, straps, boot screen, packaging, manuals | Industrial design, structure, hardware, firmware, app |
| Relative MOQ | Lowest; mixed models allowed | Low to medium, depends on model | Highest, driven by new tooling |
| Timeline driver | Stock and production slot | Sample approval of branding | Design, prototyping and pilot runs |
| Best for | Distributors testing demand | E-commerce and retail brands | Established brands with a roadmap |
| You should send | Models and quantities | Logo files, Pantone codes, target market | Product brief, target spec, price tier |
Many partners start with wholesale, then move the same models to private label — without changing supplier or re-validating quality.
We are optimized for durable partnerships and repeat orders, not one-off transactions.
CE, FCC, RoHS and TELEC certification scope, with documentation support for your destination market.
Active brand customers have partnered with us for more than four years — repeat business is our quality metric.
Finishing, documentation and packaging built for demanding markets, with proven programs in Europe and Japan.
Around 1,000 m², about 50 people and roughly 30,000 units of monthly capacity under one roof.
Firmware, companion software and white-label apps developed alongside hardware — not outsourced afterwards.
From first sketch to retail packaging you work with one engineering-led team instead of five separate vendors.
MOQ, customization, certification and compliance — the essentials before you start a wearable project.
Smart Wear Works is the smart wearable brand of Shenzhen Sww Industrial Development Co., Ltd, established in Shenzhen in June 2019. We operate our own assembly facility of around 1,000 m² with about 50 people and a monthly capacity of around 30,000 units. Sales, engineering coordination and quality control are managed in-house, so your project is handled by one accountable team from design to delivery.
We support the full process: industrial design, mechanical and structural design, hardware development, firmware and software development, custom companion apps, assembly and mass production. Standard customization includes laser-engraved logos, body and strap colours, strap materials, boot logos, packaging, multi-language manuals and certification assistance. Selected models such as the TK20 smart ring support a white-label app; for other models a white-label app is available on request.
Yes. Every model in our catalog is available as a standard product for wholesale and distribution orders, with mixed-model ordering and accessory bundling. The same models also support private-label OEM/ODM later, so you can start with catalog stock and move to your own logo, colours, packaging or white-label app without changing supplier.
MOQ depends on the model and on the depth of customization. Orders based on existing models with logo and packaging changes start at a lower quantity, while projects with custom industrial design, new tooling or bespoke firmware require higher volumes. Share the model, target market, customization level and expected quantities and we will confirm the MOQ for your project.
Yes. Private-label and own-brand programs are our core business. We routinely build products under customer trademarks with laser-engraved branding on the body, clasp or case, custom boot logos, branded retail packaging and multi-language manuals. Our active brand customers have worked with us for more than four years.
Our certification scope covers CE, FCC, RoHS and TELEC, and we ship to customers worldwide, including established programs in Europe and Japan. We provide certification documentation and certification-assistance services for OEM orders; the exact certifications for each model and destination market are confirmed during project review.
Timing depends on customization depth. Existing models with logo and packaging customization move fastest. Projects with custom industrial design, new tooling, bespoke firmware or a white-label app add design, prototyping and pilot-production stages. A detailed schedule with sampling and mass-production milestones is provided once specifications are confirmed.
No. Our smart watches, bracelets and rings are general wellness and lifestyle devices. Heart rate, blood pressure trend, blood glucose trend, SpO2 and ECG heart-rhythm recordings are consumer-level estimates for fitness and wellness reference only. They are not medical measurements and cannot diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Marketing materials and app interfaces for your program should keep this wellness framing.
Three current models carry genuine AI features: the MW09 AI watch, the W100 AI translation glasses and the MSPG007 Ultra AI camera glasses. AI functions run through a connected phone app, and voice or images are captured only when the user activates the feature. Camera glasses include a recording indicator. For regions with strict privacy regulation, such as GDPR in the EU, we support aligned privacy documentation, and AI service providers and wake words can be discussed for OEM projects.
